About Chetankumar Chauhan, MD
Dr. Chauhan is the founder of LenoyMED Healthcare Center. His goal is to transform the way healthcare is accessed by the patients, delivered by the healthcare providers and managed by the administrators and make it readily available to all the members of the society.
Aside from his medical degree with honors, Dr. Chauhan also earned a Master’s degree in Public Health (M.P.H.) from New York Medical College. After M.P.H, Dr. Chauhan pursued his further medical training at Michigan State University. Dr. Chauhan has played critical roles in academic, administrative, and clinical settings for over ten years in major academic institutions. He is currently affiliated with Rutgers, The State University, as an Assistant Professor of Medicine due to his overall experience in patient care, research background and experience in teaching residents.
Dr. Chauhan is passionate about teaching and research. Due to his background in epidemiology and interest in molecular genetics, he published research on the molecular genetics of hypertension. More specifically, his work and investigations into topics related to molecular cell biology have promoted the scientific and medical ‘communities’ understanding of the molecular bases of hypertension. Due to his passion for teaching, he has been an educator in training, mentoring, and instructing residents, fellows, and medical students enrolled in training programs at many major academic institutions throughout his career.
Dr. Chauhan has admitting privileges at University hospital, Newark, and Trinitas Regional Medical Center, Elizabeth. His areas of interest include the treatment of:
